Being inside a new arena is always a wonderful thing. Trying to comprehend the ingenuity it took for a human to build such a structure is inspiring. Grand Rapids has a really neat venue and the crowd loved the Thunder National event that took place there. With Spring right around the corner, the monster truck season is coming to an end. Although there may be a few more shows trickling down the pipes, the fast pace world of awesomeness has subsided for another year. Jake Hinke took his hands fully off the handlebars, sadly the photo was taken too late to capture it but still it’s a fine looking photograph. Sorry Jake, I’ll get it next time.

Would you believe this show just before the Division Dance Team made it’s triumphant return? As you can see the talent in this lineup is pretty deep but who knew they could also cut a rug?  From left to right Jake (sadface) Hinke, Dan Setmeyer, Koji Kraft and Wade Lajlar. This was Koji’s first show back since injuring his hand in Mexico and he managed to stay upright for every show. look at the smile on his face!

Maybe the best photo of 2012? Wade Lajlar doing what he does best during practice before the performance. Perfect foot placement and leg extension. You should see him straight bunny hop superman as well. Truly a talent!
