Chisago Skatepark…

While driving to Lake Owen Camp from Taste of Minnesota we stumbled upon a small Skatepark right off the highway. We saw a few Bmx riders and decided to go ride. Division Bmx is about getting kids on bikes and getting a fulfilled life from it. Koji Kraft and Mykel Larrin put on a little demo for the kids and did a good job getting kids stoked. You never know who will show up to any small Skatepark at any time! Pictured above is Koji with a 360 nosepick on a small small spine.

Mykel Larrin loves small ramps. He’s trying his luck on the big ramps for Dew Tour but shredded the place regardless. Rumor has it both Koji and Mykel flip trained that spine…

This is what it’s about. Division BMX is for the children. Stay on those bikes!!

Koji taking it all in. All another day in the pro very class.

The park also had some small dirt jumps and Scott D helped the kids gain knowledge about the scene. To everyone that wants to ride dirt; build in the woods, find a water source, and get shovels and a wheel barrow. It’ll be one of the more gratifying things you do with your life! Thanks to the locals for letting us ride!

Summer Solstice…

It’s not often that shows go down three blocks from the Division headquarters, but when they do it turns into a free-for-all on the box jump. All the heavy hitters were in attendence and flaunting their moves for the fashionable Milwaukee crowd. Mykel Larrin pictured doing a super-whip.

Koji Kraft is a world champion. You really can’t say that about a lot of people. He is highly skilled, doesn’t get the credit he is deserved, and might be the best show rider ever. Straight Indian.

Rollie Flasch has boost. In his first show of the summer he came out blasting. This is him with the kindness of keeping his face in the picture frame. When this photo was popped, he was still rising in the air. The shows were unreal. Thank you cans bar and Canteen!

Verge Music Fest

Verge Music Fest went down this past weekend and Division Bmx was involved with providing riders and ramps for the street event. Several street assassins came from around the midwest to battle it out for cash money. Mykel, downwhip, awesome!

Jeff Dowhen is a Milwaukee local and knows his way around the 9 ft quarter better than anyone. Footjam at height. I was told he did a can can on the way in from this! Heat!

Mykel has serious boost and stretches his tricks further than anyone else. Don’t kid yourself though, he is more than a box jump ferret, he has street moves and placed just out of the top spots.

Taking top spot and all the riches was Division rider Wade Lajlar. He won both best trick and the street jam adding to his impressive contest resume. Keep an eye on this one.

Days and days of driving…

Division team is still driving back from Mexico and finding the most entertainment in Truck stops along the way. They help the sanity return because they are so outragous. Arizona for example.

This is the rear view snapshot. Cody Cavanaugh, Mykel Larrin and Micah Kranz. Drivaz!

This is a friendly reminder of the fun had last weekend. Mykel was a special guest in a Brazillian bicycle demonstration. Let me tell you Mykel had 40 pounds on the guy and he still rode a long long way. Be back to Milwaukee soon. Bmx is awesome!

Life’s long roadtrips…

Big action sports rigs charging down the open road always puts a smile on this writers face. Pictured here is Terry’s wonderful rig with trailer in toe. See how small Terry is next to the tires, seriously his set-up is huge.

Cody’s rig is another thing of beauty. You have no idea what it’s like riding in either vehicle, it’s like your rolling in a UFO or something. Pretty epic rigs and Ill get full shots of the ramps open this weekend. Enjoy the nice weather and get on the Bmx bikes!!

Mexico eh?

Mykel Larrin and Micah Kranz have taken off on a set of shows in Mexico. Good luck to them as they travel for unreal amounts of time in a car. Pictured is Mykel fufanu on the backrailing at Weatherford Skatepark in Oaklahoma.

The boys were also lucky enough to engage in a real life truck rally that codyelkins.com put on for us. Fmx is nuts.

A few left over…

Still have a few pictures left over from last weekends Ride the Rock event in Joliet, Il. This is Wade lajlar flip whip into the peoples hearts.

Brian Fitch mid nothing. Not bad for his first few shows back with the team.

Ride the Rock…

Division charged out am amazing set of shows in Joliet Illinois for the Ride the Rock event put on by the forest district. It’s not a party until Ronald Mcdonald shows up and Mykel Larrin decided to flip him too the moon. Pretty amazing.

The Fraser family was nice enough to donate some photos of the show and we appreciate that a lot. All photos below are from them.

Show members Brian Fitch, Mykel Larrin, Micah Kranz, Wade Lajlar, and Chris Oestriech. Sweet lookin team.

Fitch in the middle of nothing. Looks like a no footer and that makes me smile.

Madison and Wade making beautiful music.

We ended up in Greenville

After the Charlottesville shows we decided to visit Greenville North Carolina and hang out with OG Division member Quinn Semling. We showed up late but still had an awesome session at the Jaycee Park. Brian Fitch, Wade Lajlar and Quinn Semling hanging on the deck.

The Jaycee park has gotten a facelift since the days of Dave Mirra Pro Bmx 2 but it’s still amazingly fun and is now Free to ride. The ramps were built by Mike Laird and some of the fastest ive ever ridden. There was talk of a new mini ramp being built which would only accent an already flowing park.

This Division sticker was spotted while in downtown Greenville. It was placed around 2007 while on Props mega your. So cool to still see it placed. Thank you city of Greenville!

Moving right along…

We were afforded the gracious opportunity to ride the dkbicycles.com warehouse last night and got some great footage on some Mark Hilson built ramps. For only having a few ramps the place flows and is amazing fun. Huge shout out to Trevor and Catfish for letting us be ridaz. When we were done with that we had pizza at Catfish’s house and was shown this advertisment of Mykel Larrin for Gatoraid. Last year was just a stepping stone to Mykel’s bright future.

This is Mykel sleeping. On any trip over an hour, this is a common look.

He was not alone on the sleep session.

And to connect the trifecta, BF making Z’s. Is it creepy I take pics of friends sleeping. I didn’t think so either. Charlottesville has a Skatepark and was built in the mountains. Street session all day tomorrow!!
